I am surrounded by pregnancy and babies right now so I can’t help but think of my own pregnancy.
. I had wonderful pregnancy without a single nausea, my hair was sick and smooth, I had so much energy I could hike on mountains every weekend.
. But of course the curiosity and the longing to meet you was killing me! Thankfully you came a week earlier than expected 🙏
. You came out all wrinkled and ugly, I was wondering who you looked liked most, I thought not like me but like an old grumpy man. You came for my breast and milk right away, and that’s where you will be staying for the next two years😆
. Unfortunately all those memories are slowly fading away but replaced by new one. 🌈
. Dad and I are thanking the stars everyday that you chose us! And I thank the stars that you have the best daddy ever! 🙏🙏 I thank the stars that we can give you love and time as much as you deserve!❤️

Here in Bali, my family and I are in the better days inspite of the tremendous rain for 4 days. We just move to a new villa, again…😅

The new normal in Bali, we have been stopped daily by the local policemen asking for our international driving permit and about our vaccine situation. We have our international driving card but we do not have the vaccine card…yet🤷🏼‍♀️ We understand that they are only doing their job, but its never fun to get stopped by the authorities because perhaps tomorrow we will get a corrupted one 👮‍♂️ Luckily that David is always polite and calm to deal with them, but inside of me I am boiling of frustration. However, the calmest guy in the world can also loose his temper, David basically threw the international driving permit on the police man this morning🤣

One of the many reasons we have problems finding a suitable villa for us here in Bali are the walls! They love building walls around their houses, sometimes it doesn’t make any sense, they could have the most beautiful view they would still build walls around. They have their reasons and their tradition ofcourse.

.
But here in Mahasa Resort, they don’t have walls. Just endless of blue sky and green rice paddies. The view here is satisfying but unfortunately the villa is not. If they could have build it differently, but that’s another problem with houses here in Bali. We can’t have it all, but for the next 4 days we will have an almost perfect view, atleast the best view of the village!

This is one of the rare times we are feeling homesick.🥲 But for us is not about missing Switzerland and the life there. We are missing having a home.

. Ever since we left Switzerland we must have stay in over 100 houses or hotels. In normal time, we are loving it but I think our feelings are due to the fact that Indonesia is under lockdown for atleast 2 weeks.
. This is the time when it’s the most important to have a home where we can feel like being home. And right now we don’t have that.
. While on hunt for our new home, we have atleast each other!🙏 We know that no matter the situation we are in, as long as we have each other, we are family, family is home❤️
